A nakshatra is one of 27 equal divisions of the ecliptic used in Vedic astrology (some traditions discuss a 28th Abhijit for special timing). Each spans 13°20′ and carries a name, symbol, planetary lord, and classical deity associations used in interpretive literature.

Why signs alone are not enough
