Pure calculation

No AI guesswork in the API. Planet positions, dashas and panchang come from astronomical calculation, so results are repeatable.

Checked for accuracy

Planet positions agree with NASA JPL's ephemeris to a few thousandths of a degree. Sidereal zodiac, Lahiri ayanamsa.

Clean JSON

Consistent field names, ISO 8601 dates with the local offset, and clear error messages that name the field that is wrong.

Common questions

Does the API use AI?

No. Everything in the API is calculated or looked up, so the same input always gives the same output. (Our consumer chat app is separate.)

How do credits work?

Each successful call spends a few credits (1 for a chart, 2 for a dasha or panchang, 3 for a sade sati timeline). Your dashboard shows your balance, usage by endpoint and every transaction.

Which zodiac and calculation settings are used?

Sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa and the mean lunar node (Rahu/Ketu). Options we have not verified yet are rejected with a clear error instead of returning a guess.

Can I limit who can use my key?

Yes. Each API key can be restricted to specific IP addresses or ranges, and revoked instantly from the dashboard.

Can I call it from a browser?

It is possible, but anyone could then read your key. Call the API from your server and send the result to your app.
